Indrika Ratwatte, Deputy of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan (UNAMA), traveled to Bamyan province to monitor UN programs and assess their impact on people’s lives.
During this visit, the UNAMA Deputy met with Mawlawi Abdullah Sarhadi, Governor of Bamyan, and several local officials to discuss enhanced coordination for expanding humanitarian services in remote areas.
He also emphasized the importance of monitoring and evaluating programs, noting that this information can help improve services and ensure that aid reaches those in need.
