H.E. Mullah Noorullah Noori, Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs, has traveled to Badakhshan at the head of a delegation on the instructions of H.E. Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Afghan Government.
The delegation is visiting Yaftal District to investigate and assess the circumstances surrounding the recent clashes at the district’s market.
Addressing religious scholars and tribal elders during the visit, Mr. Noori emphasized that there is no place within the ranks of the Islamic Emirate for discrimination, tribalism, regionalism or racism.
He assured the gathering that a comprehensive investigation would be conducted to identify those responsible and refer them to the relevant legal authorities.
