Israeli forces have martyred 59 Palestinians across Gaza, including at least 17 who were attempting to collect food at aid sites operated by the controversial United States- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), according to the Ministry of Health.
These latest deaths have intensified international condemnation of what critics are calling “human slaughterhouses.”
Medical staff at al-Awda Hospital in central Gaza told Al Jazeera that at least three people were martyred and dozens more injured by Israeli gunfire as they approached a GHF distribution site near the so-called Netzarim Corridor, desperately searching for meagre food parcels to feed their starving families.
