In a strongly worded statement, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) condemned the recent U.S. strikes on the country’s nuclear facilities, calling them a “blatant and unforgivable crime” and a clear violation of the UN Charter, international law, the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and fundamental international norms.
“The U.S. attack has compelled Iran to exercise its legitimate right to self-defense, utilizing options that go beyond the enemy’s calculations and understanding,” the statement read. “Those who strike Iranian territory should expect regretful and decisive responses.”
The IRGC also revealed that the flight paths of the aircraft involved in the attack have been identified and are currently under investigation.
The statement reaffirmed the continuation of Operation True Promise 3, noting that Israel has already endured twenty waves of this campaign. The IRGC emphasized that the operation will persist with precision, targeting the Zionist regime’s infrastructure, strategic assets, and interests.
