The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has announced its agreement to release ten Israeli detainees as part of a proposed ceasefire deal in the Gaza Strip.
In an official statement, Hamas affirmed its continued commitment to the negotiation process, stating: “The leadership of the movement is actively working to ensure the success of ongoing talks aimed at achieving a comprehensive agreement that ends the aggression against our people, facilitates the delivery of humanitarian aid, and alleviates the deepening crisis in Gaza.”
The statement also emphasized that several key issues remain under discussion, including the uninterrupted flow of aid, the full withdrawal of occupying forces from Gaza, and the establishment of credible guarantees for a permanent and lasting ceasefire.
