Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, Chief Executive Officer of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, met with Mr. Oybek Usmanov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in his office to discuss major electricity-related development projects.
CEO Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, welcomed recent advancements in strengthening economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan as two neighboring Muslim countries and emphasized the need to further enhance bilateral relations.
During the meeting, Ambassador Oybek Usmanov expressed his satisfaction with the growing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, particularly in the electricity sector, and assured the continuation and strengthening of such collaborations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, in addition to the discussed topics, both sides also talked about coordination on new electricity projects and related initiatives.
