Israeli military has announced the deaths of seven soldiers killed in combat in Gaza on Tuesday. The names of six have been publicly released, while the identity of the seventh is being withheld until the family has been notified.
According to the military, all seven soldiers were between the ages of 19 and 21 and served in the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion.
Additionally, an eighth soldier from the same unit was severely wounded during the fighting on Tuesday night and has been medically evacuated to Israel for treatment.
