Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Wednesday, 1/27/1447, corresponding to 1/5/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

1764 families with 10844 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (12610000) Afghanis were provided to 1609 families by the Financial management Committee.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

505 families with 2356 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 988 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transporations committee

39 families with 213 members from Nimroze have been safely transported to Herat and Kabul, and (220,000) has been paid for the fare.

Financial management Committee

A total of (3738,000) Afghanis has been provided to 458 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the refugees returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 1614 returned refugees have been treated on the Abrishom way.

Communications: 505 SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees on the Abrishom way.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

47 families with 242 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transporations committee

11 families with 117 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar, Helmand, Ghazni, Herat and Kabul, and (134,600) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (398,000) Afghanis have been provided to 47 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 170 meals, bread and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 39 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Communications Services Authority, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

65 families returned to the country through Torkham and 336 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transporations committee

49 families with 262 members from Torkham were safely transported to Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar and Kabul and (217,300) Afghanis were also paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (438,000 Afghanis) was provided to 55 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 193 SIM cards, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kabul

Center

Transporations committee

423 families with 1996 members from Kabul were safely transported to Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan, Badakhshan and Sar-e-Pul, and these families were also paid (1306860) Afghanis as rent.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (238) families and (13778) individuals

Transferred refugees: (522) families and (2588) individuals

Assisted refugees: (2169) families

SIM cards distributed: (737) numbers
