Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Wednesday, 1/20/1447, corresponding to 4/25/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

2243 families with 15208 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (20014000) Afghanis have been provided to 2455 families by the Financial management Committee.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

1014 families with 4834 members from Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 1666 passengers have returned to the country.

Transporations committee

191 families with 954 members from Nimroz have been safely transported to Farah, Kandahar, Helmand and Kabul, and (946,000) rent has been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (752,000) Afghanis have been provided to 899 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the refugees returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 3011 returned refugees have been treated on the Abrishom way.

Communications: 1014 SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees on the Abrishom way.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

85 families with 434 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transporations committee

3 families with 17 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar and Ghazni and (19,500) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (678,000) Afghanis have been provided to 83 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 56 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 188 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 16 SIM cards with free minutes and internet packages have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Communications Services Administration.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

82 families returned to the country through Torkham and 490 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transpotations committee

35 families with 177 members from Torkham were safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar and Kabul and (166,100) Afghanis were also paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (638,000 Afghanis) was provided to 84 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. The refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham camp:

Communications: 235 SIM cards, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Helmand

Bahramcha (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

2 families with 12 members returned to the country through Bahramcha and were registered.

Transporations committee

2 families with 12 members from Bahramcha, Helmand, have been safely transported to Lashkar Gah and Garmsir, and 3500 Afghanis have also been paid as rent to the said family.

Financial management Committee

A total of (18,000) Afghanis has been provided to 2 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transprtations committee

800 families with 3964 members from Kabul have been safely transported to Logar, Daikundi, Bamyan, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Laghman, Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan and Sar-e-Pul.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (3426) families and (20978) individuals

Transferred refugees: (1031) families and (5124) individuals

Assisted refugees: (3523) families

SIM cards distributed: (1265) units
