Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Monday, 18/1/1447, corresponding to 23/4/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

2361 families with 13732 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (17,162,000) Afghanis were provided to 2,182 families by the Financial management Committee.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

1229 families with 6005 members from Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 1189 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transpotations committee

87 families with 448 members from Nimroz have been safely transported to Herat, Farah, Helmand and Kabul, and (647,000) fares have been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (9,632,000) Afghanis have been provided to 1215 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the refugees returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 3111 returned refugees have been treated on the Abrishom way.

Communications: 1229 SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees on the Abrishom way.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

35 families with 192 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transporations committee

46 families with 290 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Kandahar, Herat, Zabul, Ghazni and Kabul, and (300,600) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (290,000) Afghanis has been provided to 35 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 535 food parcels and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 227 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Telecommunications: The Telecommunications Services Authority has distributed 47 free SIM cards to the returned refugees, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

37 families returned to the country through Torkham and 180 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transporations committee

32 families with 167 members were safely transported from Torkham to Nangarhar and Kabul, and (235,100) Afghanis were also paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (298) Afghanis was provided to 36 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. The said refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees in the Torkham Omari camp:

Communications: 134 SIM cards, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kabul

Center

Transporations committee

754 families with 3888 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Paktia, Khost, Logar, Daikundi, Laghman, Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan and Faryab and (2353720) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (3662) families and (20109) individuals

Transferred refugees: (919) families and (4793) individuals

Helped refugees: (3468) families

Distributed SIM cards: (1410) numbers
