Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Sunday, 1/3/1447, corresponding to 4/8/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

122 families returned to the country through Torkham and 589 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transporations committee

70 families with 370 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar and Kabul and (280,900) Afghanis have also been provided to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1384,000) Afghanis have been provided to 173 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 331 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

80 families with 404 members returned to the country through Spin Boldak and were registered.

Transportation committee

17 families with 114 members were safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Herat, Helmand, Paktia and Kabul, and (137,400) Afghanis were also paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (666,000) Afghanis have been provided to 80 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 250 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 312 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 44 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

433 families with 2335 members from Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 1195 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transportation committee

15 families with 79 members from Nimroze have been safely transported to Farah and Kabul, and (71,000) fares have been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (3,682,000) Afghanis have been provided to 420 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the refugees returning from the Nimroze Abrishom way:

Health: 1589 returned refugees have been treated on the Abrishom way.

Communications: 433 SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees on the Abrishom way.

Paktika

Angoor Ada (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

2 families with 14 members have returned to the country and registered through Paktika Angoor Ada.

Financial management Committee

A total of (7,000) Afghanis have been provided to 2 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Paktika Angoor Ada. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the refugees who returned to Paktika Angoor Ada:

Food: 31 meals of bread and water were distributed at Angoor Ada.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 2360 families with 7319 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (17620000) Afghanis have been provided to 2137 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transporations committee

85 families with 461 members have been safely transported from Kabul to Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Balkh, Samangan, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, Badakhshan and Sar-e-Pul, and (180000) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (2997) families and (10661) individuals

Transferred refugees: (187) families and (1024) individuals

Assisted refugees: (2812) families

Distributed SIM cards: (808) units
