Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Wednesday, 1/6/1447, corresponding to 11/4/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

126 families returned to the country through Torkham and 636 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transporations committee

115 families with 591 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar and Kabul and (448,000) Afghanis have also been provided to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1156,000) Afghanis have been provided to 144 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 368 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

102 families with 559 members returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

38 families with 226 members were safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Herat, Helmand, Uruzgan, Helmand, Paktika and Kabul, and (289,600) Afghanis were also paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (834,000) Afghanis have been provided to 101 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 575 food parcels and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 179 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 55 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

1130 families with 5655 members from Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 553 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transporations committee

24 families with 116 members from Nimroz have been safely transported to Herat, Helmand and Kabul, and (178,000) fares have been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (9384,000) Afghanis have been provided to 1111 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee:

The following different services, including health, were provided to the refugees returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 3090 returned refugees have been treated on the Abrishom way.

Communications: 1130 SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees on the Abrishom way.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

3850 families with 13843 members have returned to the country and registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (28608,000) Afghanis have been provided to 3431 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transporations committee

168 families with 860 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan, Badakhshan and Sar-e-Pul, and (372,500) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (5208) families and (20693) individuals

Transferred refugees: (345) families and (1793) individuals

Assisted refugees: (4787) families

SIM cards distributed: (1553) units
