Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Wednesday, 13/1/1447, corresponding to 18/4/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

97 families returned to the country through Torkham and 465 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transporations committee

89 families with 450 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar and Kabul and (350,500) Afghanis have also been paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (446,000) Afghanis have been provided to 56 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 2119 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

48 families with 315 members returned to the country through Spin Boldak and were registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (428,000) Afghanis were provided to 48 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 245 food and water were distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 192 returning refugees were treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 66 SIM cards were distributed to the returning refugees free of charge by the Telecommunication Services Administration, which also included free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

1705 families with 8405 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 980 travelers have also returned to the country.

Transporations committee

59 families with 343 members from Nimroz were safely transported to Herat, Farah and Kabul and (595,000) rent was paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1,220,600) Afghanis were provided to 1,425 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Nimroz Abrishom way:

Health: 4321 migrants returning from the Silk Road have been treated.

Communications: 1705 SIM cards have been distributed to the migrants from the Abrishom way.

Paktika

Angoor Ada (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

2 families with 12 members have returned to the country and registered through Paktika Angoor Ada.

Financial management Committee

A total of (200,000) Afghanis have been provided to 2 families by the Financial management Committee.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 3100 families with 19197 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (27626000) Afghanis have been provided to 3358 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transporations committee

326 families with 1863 members have been safely transported from Kabul to Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan, Badakhshan and Sar-e-Pul, and (675600) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (4952) families and (28439) individuals

Transferred refugees: (474) families and (2656) individuals

Assisted refugees: (4989) families

Distributed SIM cards: (3890) units
