Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Tuesday, 12/1/1447, corresponding to 17/4/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

53 families returned to the country through Torkham and 255 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transporations committee

33 families with 179 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar and Kabul and (138,900) Afghanis have also been paid to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (424,000) Afghanis have been provided to 51 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 119 SIM cards, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

45 families with 237 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportatins committee

21 families with 109 members have been safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Zabul and Kabul, and (153,000) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (354,000) Afghanis have been provided to 45 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 360 food parcels and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 198 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 28 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

496 families with 2448 members from Nimroz province have returned to the country and registered, and 841 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transporations committee

80 families with 408 members from Nimroz have been safely transported to Herat, Farah, Helmand and Kabul, and (642,000) in rent has been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (8014,000) Afghanis have been provided to 945 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, were provided to the refugees returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 1678 returned refugees have been treated on the Abrishom way.

Communications: 496 SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees on the Abrishom way.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

2010 families with 13324 members have returned to the country and registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (20394000) Afghanis have been provided to 2433 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transporations committee

326 families with 1863 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Balkh, Jawzjan, Badakhshan and Sar-e-Pul, and (675600) Afghanis have also been provided as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (2604) families and (16264) individuals

Transferred refugees: (460) families and (2559) individuals

Assisted refugees: (3474) families

SIM cards distributed: (643) units
