Today, July 28, 2025, the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, attended the official ceremony marking the launch of the legal deployment process of skilled and professional Afghan workers to foreign countries, held at the Intercontinental Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund described this process as an effective step toward improving the country\u2019s economic situation and reducing the unemployment rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that over the past four years, the Islamic Emirate has continuously strived to create employment opportunities in the country by attracting domestic and foreign investment and by expanding economic relations with other nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Deputy PM stated that numerous development projects are currently underway across the country and that Afghanistan\u2019s trade and economic ties with other nations have expanded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These efforts have positively impacted the labor market and created many job opportunities. He emphasized that, in addition to these efforts, the Islamic Emirate is seeking to reduce unemployment through various approaches\u2014one of which is the legal deployment of Afghan workers to foreign countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Deputy PM further added that the creation of job opportunities abroad will help enhance Afghanistan\u2019s trade and economic relations with host countries, bring nations closer together, and elevate Afghanistan\u2019s international reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He noted that employment of Afghan workers in developed countries offers them the opportunity to acquire new skills and familiarize themselves with modern technologies, which they can later apply for the benefit of their homeland upon return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Deputy PM assured all citizens that the Islamic Emirate is making serious efforts to reduce the unemployment rate in the country and is committed to ensuring a comfortable and prosperous life for the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In conclusion, the Deputy PM expressed his appreciation to the officials of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs for facilitating the legal deployment of Afghan workers to Qatar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He encouraged them to continue their efforts and to further improve available services. Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund also thanked the State of Qatar for its cooperation in this regard and for accepting Afghan workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He called on other countries to also facilitate the legal deployment of Afghan workers and to make use of their skills and talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is worth mentioning that an agreement has been reached between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the State of Qatar for the deployment of 2,000 Afghan workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The registration process for this initiative is scheduled to begin tomorrow, July 29, 2025, in various provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officials from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs added that, in addition to Qatar, discussions are also ongoing with Iran, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Tajikistan, T\u00fcrkiye, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, and several other countries regarding the deployment of Afghan workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
